Delighted to see a programme like this, as a female entrepreneur in food myself, it concerns me that females are grossly under-represented in the sector. I think peer led work-based entrepreneurial training really helps.

The continuing supports have given me the confidence to bring my idea to life. Words cannot describe the importance of the encouragement, the support and the mentoring we are given”.

“I thought the female specific training and mentoring sessions were fantastic and invaluable. Prototyping my product on the spot with classmates, peers and the public was brilliant it allowed me to grow and trust my vision for my food business. I wish that I had been more prepared for it, however in all honesty, I think I got more from it on the spot.
Working with other aspiring and current female entrepreneurs in food and listening to the fantastic mentors and peers - who were our lecturers, I have learnt the importance of conversation, sharing ideas and merging interests. I never really wanted this course to end!”
